PM2/PM3 Petroleum Mechanic

Option Construction Corp. is currently seeking a PM2/PM3 Petroleum Mechanic to be a part of our
growing Construction team. Option Construction Corp. is a General Contractor/Petroleum Contractor
based out of Spruce Grove AB, specializing in the Downstream Oil and Gas and Commercial Industry. We
provide construction, redevelopment, maintenance services and installations throughout British
Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. We take pride in our work, our Clients and

Summary:

The licensed petroleum mechanic will be responsible for all aspects of petroleum installations while
working directly under the site supervisor, petroleum manager or project manager

Salary: $32.00-$40.00 an hour plus overtime. LOA Provided for out of town work (meals &
accommodations)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain professionalism, sensitivity, and tact to portray the Company in a positive manner
    always
  • Willingness to actively comply with all safety practices, policies and procedures
  • Installation and removals of underground tank systems
  • Installation and removals of aboveground tank systems
  • Service and maintain petroleum equipment, systems and accessories essential to site operation
  • Repair and maintain leak detection equipment
  • Help maintain strong, trustworthy, and lasting relationships with our existing and new clients
  • Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed
  • Possess the physical and mental capabilities to work under stress and control multiple tasks at a
    time
  • Scheduling can involve being part of an on-call 24/7 rotation

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in the Petroleum/Construction industry or a combination of education
    and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct work experience as a licensed Petroleum Mechanic
  • CPCA/TSSA Petroleum Mechanic Certifications PM2, PM3
  • Must be willing to travel and be prepared to work on-call and overtime
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be able to perform manual labour
  • Must be able to pass drug and alcohol test
  • Valid driver’s license required, with a clean driving record
  • Fluent written and oral English language skills required.
